TOOLS AND MATERIALS LIST WASHERS/NUTS/BOLTS/SCREWS section of hardware store: four (4) 3/8" x 7" lag screws-- zinc, *NOT* galvanized four (4) 3/8" stainless steel fender washers eight (8) size-14 2" wood screws (1 box) 3/8" x 1/2" x 1" steel spacer (I used Hillman) (for guiding perfectly plumb pilot holes with the 21/64" and 23/64" drill bits. Find in the washers/nuts cabinet of the hardware store) PLUMBING SECTION: two (2) 3/4" galvanized 90-degree elbows (plumbing section) two (2) 3/4" galvanized floor flange (plumbing section) two (2) 3/4" galvanized 8" pipe nipples (plumbing section) one (1) 48" x 3/4" galvanized steel pipe (plumbing section) two (2) 3/4" 8" galvanized pipe nipples (plumbing section) pipe joint compound (I used Oatey) CABINETRY SECTION: one (1) 1'x8"x2' red oak board (find in the fine cabinetry section of the hardware store) one (1) 1/4" x 6" (or 8") x 2' sturgeon board (should also be in fine cabinetry section of the hardware store) Sockets and bits needed (TOOLS section): 5/16 socket (for guiding perfectly plumb pilot holes with the 13/64" drill bit) 9/16 socket (for screwing in the lag screws) 6" 21/64 drill bit (for drilling the deep joist pilot holes) 23/64 drill bit (for drilling the lag screw holes in the oak block) 13/64 drill bit (for drilling the size-14 screw pilot holes in the oak block) 12" drill bit extension (I used an Irwin 90112 Quick Change 12-Inch Extension Adapter, for final mounting of bar in oak blocks) tiniest drill bit you have ...
